ITT’s Leopold brand Clari-DAF™ system is a particularly capable technology for removing low-density particles that cannot be removed by gravity sedimentation. The systems employs buoyancy flotation whereby tiny air bubbles are attached to the particle surfaces and float the solid particles to the surface of the water where they are removed as floating sludge.
